Today, there was a BUNCH of ice pretty much everywhere. Snow was here and there, but ice was in abundance. Last year, when the ice came, school closed for a day. This year, the ice came. Meade, Hardin, and all the other counties/districts in between were canceled.
Not Knox, though!
Nope, despite all teachers living in E-Town or Louisville (And having to drive through the ice), school was in session. We had to wait in the cafeteria for another fifteen or so minutes, as "not enough teachers were there". That's when you ought to draw the line.
So maybe we're Army Strong and stuff---that's no excuse for no snow day!
Stupid weather.
UPDATE: Several neighbor schools are now closed. Guess where we're at?
"NO DELAYS OR CANCELLATIONS".

EEK! That ein't fair! XD That happened to me last year, too. ALL of the Bartow County schools were closed 'cause of ice... EXCEPT Woodland Middle XD
XD so close yet so far.
All my Musical Theatre people (Who live in E-town) were all like, "And how was YOUR snow day?"
Well, I had an algebra final, a concert rehearsal, and a science review. Then I spent all of 6th period watching BlueMan Group (Which I really hate)
